

300g rice
3 stalks spring onion
30g carrot
dash of salt
Method
- Rinse rice and soak in water. Cut spring onion into sections. Dice carrot.
- Put rice, carrot and spring onion in a pot with 5 bowls of water, cook over medium low heat for about 2 hours. Season with salt.
- Remove the spring onion once the porridge is cooked to make it easier for feeding.
- Spring onion promotes the secretion of digestive juices, aids expectoration and urination. It is also good for preventing flu and colds.
