This week, I study about "things" in my Korean Class. Maybe it is like Korean student when they studied at kindergarten. The different is I am learning about it just now, when I am on graduate student. Sometimes, I wanna laugh if remember such kind like this. Hahaha… But, we are 외국인. So it doesn't matter entirely.
In order to remember this words, I write down here. I type it by myself for practicing even with keyboard. For me, it is so difficult to remember Korean vocabulary. Why? It doesn't like remembering English vocabulary that easier. I try to remember it and I will forget in another day. Oh My God… Maybe, due to its written that doesn't use Latin alphabet but 한굴(Han-gul), so it is rather difficult to be remembered. So do Korean people. According to my Korean friend, he said that he has difficulty in learning English, especially in pronounciation. One of the reason is because of alphabet difference. They are accostumed using 한골
since they were in child. So, it will be rather difficult to learn foreign language with different alphabet. It's same with what I'm facing now. I don't know wheter it's right or not. Just my opinion…
Sometimes, the word that come from English vocabulary, there's no translation in Korean. It's almost same in pronounciation with English, but written in Han-gul.
And then, for pronounciation, I write it in my own romanization… that is in Indonesian way. Maybe it's different with the official one.
To ask something in Korean, we can use ㅇㅣ게 뭐예요? (Ige mwoyeyo?) that mean "What is this?" in case the thing is near from the speaker or ㅈㅣ게 뭐예요? (Joge mwoyeyo?) that mean "What is that?", in other hand.
OK, 시작!!
