Bacon Cheeseburger Roll Up
This has quickly become a favorite recipe in our house! Quick, easy, and filling!
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
8 oz Velveeta or 8 slices of your favorite sliced cheese
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 bound of bacon (I cut mine with scissors into little pieces)
13.8 oz package of refrigerated pizza crust
Brown and drain the bacon, beef, and onion. Add the Velveeta and cook until melted. If you choose to use sliced cheese, don't add the cheese just yet. Lightly grease a 15x8 baking sheet. Preheat your oven to 400. Spread the pizza crust out on the 15x8. Spread the meat/cheese mixture over the crust. If you're using sliced cheese, layer it on top of the meat mixture. Roll it up so that you have one long log. The seam should face the bottom of the pan. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. We cut it into 2-inch wide sections. Kids love it, and grown up do too!
