1. I'm short but walk very fast. I drive very fast too (but obey the speed limit).
2. My favourite colors are red, green and any other light color. I hate wearing bright blue dress but love light blue.
3. I baked for other people (hubby/kids/friends) more than for my own self.... (that explains why the fat is not on me...hehe).
4. When I was in secondary school my nick name was "Kak Janet".... (oooo I miss my old friends)
5. I'm allergy to prawns & fresh milk but ok to consume when diluted with other ingredients.
6. I didn't like jogging before but after watching Biggest Looser my perspective changes. I was so much inspired by their determination that I told my self that I should try too no matter how hard that is. Now I started jogging at least once a week with determination to keep myself healthy at this age. If I don't start now I probably will never get started.
7. I love to sleep and my hubby said I sleep like a baby.

My Valentine

 Valentine's day is the most special day for me of all besides my anniversary, birthday, mother's day, etcs. That is because other dates are given whilst this is of choice. The Valentine Day is not about receiving gift but that is when I got to hear the best expression from my love one.

As usual my hubby ask if I wanted anything but I said no need and firmly advised him not to buy me flowers or expensive gift and he nodded.  When I logged on my computer in the office first thing this morning I received an email from my hubby - guess what. It is a note to say his feeling & appreciation - I was really laughing and smiling all day long..... and also another surprise was that he also sent me a photo of vase of Roses above with a note that the flowers are waiting for me at home.... so creative! What impressed me most that he made an effort to do all this. I love crystals & he bought me Bohemia vase for the flowers a week earlier...now I know why.....haha impressive..! .........and more.......... I didn't expect to get another surprise when I got home.... I found a lovely card slotted in my folded notebook... ah, he knows that I will certainly on my pc when I got home. The card says many things he never said to me before. Every occassion, my hubby never failed to surprise me.... We dated 3 years, engaged 2 years and now married for 21 years. Thanks my darling for being my Valentine for 26 years now... I love you very much too! Semuga Allah memberkati kita berdua sehingga hari tua.

Along balik kerja hari ni terus jer on pc & nampak mesej dari Nor suruh gi rumah dia amik award. Memang happy teramat sangat sebab terpilih 5 orang sahaja dan di hargai oleh member blog yang lain. Gift from AlongRiz

AlongRiz arrived from KL today's afternoon for his mid year term break. After finished cooking his favourite dish (Chicken Rendang), I came upstairs and surprised to find a pretty candle, a card and a bar of chocolate placed on a porcelain plate laid next to my laptop. It is belated gift for my birthday last June. Such a sweet and lovely son of mine.... thanks so much love, mama love you very much too!

Gifts from Che & Fresh Pear Cheese Pie

My sister-like friend, Che is also leaving Miri very soon to live in Houston, USA. It is very sad loosing friend one after another while living in a place where not many relatives around but distance away. Che gave me the above porcelain set which she bought from Mexico as farewell gifts. See the little butter/jam bowl which knife is a gun shape... that's really cute...! Apart from the above set, she also gave me a four-tier silver plates and a two-tier plate holder (not shown) because she knows I like entertaining and that will definitely be useful... thanks so much dear.

I promised her & hubby, Charlie that I will make them Fresh Pear Cheese Pie before they leave. Just finished baking & will deliver it to their house tomorrow.

Belated Gift

 

Another celebration in the office today when I was surprised by my best friend Ms Audrey who is on business visit to Miri. She bought me Macadamia Cheesecake from Secret Recipe which I shared with everyone in the department. The cake was finger lickin' good & finished off till the last bit on the plate. Everyone loved it!

p/s SAD NEWS:
1. Today is Cik Ja's last day in office and she'll be flying off to Holand tomorrow with her children. It is very sad when one by one friend of mine leaving me behind...
2. In addition, some good colleague are also leaving after finishing their assignment in Miri. Yesterday Helge Kreutz said good bye too to return to his home country in German. He is one my best friends in the office.... will miss you & make sure you take care good care of your health and I will visit you one day.
3. Also received a good bye email from Holand today from my ex-boss (Aernout vd G) that he has resigned. He was such a good mentor.

My colleague threw a small surprise party for me yesterday in the office..... I also had a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my two lovely friends Cik Liz & Cik Ja.... Thanks so much....!! Also thanking for SMSs & emails received yesterday and today.

Wow....! Surprise sesangat....! Tetiba dapat call dari sahabat yang jauh nun di Semenanjung suruh check nape parcel tak sampai2. Bila call PO, rupa2 nya parcel baru je sampai hari ni..... Terima-kasih tak terkata Along pada sahabat Along ni. Semuga Allah berkati nya sekeluarga, murah rezeki & sihat2 semua.

Sepasang gaun pink, hair band & klip rambut sempena hari jadi Liana 1 tahun.... (ingat je dia bulan lahir Liana, parcel ni dah di kirim 2 minggu lalu). Cantik sangat ler Auntie... Liana pun mmg tak byk dress sbb mama & abah asyik beli seluar terlupa lak nak beli dress, nasib auntie kasi satu ni haaa....

Sebenor nya, Along snap punya ler byk gambo, sampai 117...! Semua nya kelabu kecuali yg satu tu sebab Liana sekarang ni seminit pun tak duk diam, asyik jalan ke sana-kemari je. Dia terkejut bila Along buat suara meow2 baru dapat snap satu...aduh2... sekarang baru you all tau nape jarang2 kuar gambo Liana, berpeluh-peluh nak dapat satu gambo pun....hehe. Nak tengok versi kelabu, ni dia haaa
