Indonesia Talam Chendol Jelly

Indigents:

8 tsp Agar Agar powder
250g sugar
600ml water
150g red bean
4 pandan leave
100g gula melaka
salt
500ml water
175ml thick coconut milk
250g chendol
chocolate colouring

Method

  1. Cook 4 tsp agar agar powder, 150g red bean and 200g sugar into 600ml water. Take out 200ml agar agar water pour it into a 9" square tin , add in 250g chendol into it. (1st layer)
  2. For the remaining agar agar water, add in 1/4 tsp salt. 75ml thick coconut milk and mix well, then pour slowly onto the 1st layer of chendol agar agar. (2nd layer)
  3. Cook another 4 tsp agar agar powder, 4 pandan leave, 100g gula melaka, 50g sugar, 1/4 tsp salt in 500ml of water and sieve it.
  4. Add in 100ml thick coconut milk, some chocolate colouring onto the cooked mixture and then slowly pour mixture onto the 2nd layer. (3rd layer)
  5. Cool and put into the refrigerator till set. Cut into cube wile serve. Serve cold.
