I usually made fried onions in a small batch, just enough for one serving but tonight I made one big plate of it.... Why? It is part of my preparation for a big cooking project coming up this Friday.... wait & see to find out more what I will do with it.
This is how I made my fried onions (very crispy & sweet):
Slice shallots thinly & add 2-3 tbsp of rice flour. Deep fry above medium low fire until golden & crispy. Dish up & ensure completely cool before storing in an airtight container.
